PDF Checker is always FREE for internal use. Contact us for OEM Pricing.
PDFs are generated using various software systems and platforms, making it difficult to know what is contained in the file. Attached files, graphics, form fields, signatures, and other items can affect how you manage or distribute documents.
PDF Checker is a free, command line tool for 64-bit Windows and Linux platforms that allows you to quickly scan PDF documents to identify features that are problematic.
Enter a PDF Checker statement from a command prompt and manually check one PDF document at a time, or add to a batch file to check large numbers of PDF documents automatically.
PDF Checker can be used as an independent tool to assess the characteristics of PDF documents, but it was also designed to be used with PDF Optimizer to conditionally apply appropriate fixes and improvements. PDF Optimizer applies fixes and improvements to those documents so that they will download faster or open more quickly in a browser window or mobile device.
For this reason, we provide a free trial version of PDF Optimizer with your PDF Checker installation. PDF Checker remains free forever, but please contact us for OEM pricing.
